It's Good to turn back
Sometimes things look good all in your favor and suddenly you figure out that you have to take a back. Today the same happened to me. It was 10 C below zero and also not too windy, and looked good to walk.
I
planned to get out to get some fresh air and to top up my steps. Winter
days you won't get many chances to add up your steps. We live in
Canada, it's snowy and cold. We are used to it still, going for a walk
is like a challenge for us.
We have to bundle up in layers with
so many things on and it becomes tough to walk around to enjoy the
outdoors. Anyway I got ready with everything, sweater, gloves, woolen
cap, stole and with my heavy winter coat. There are from light to heavy
ones, all varieties of coats in our coat closet. We pick and choose
depending on the weather conditions.
It is good to have safety as your priority all the time. Not good to have any surprises on the way.
It
is better to think before taking any action. Think through, take
precautions and safety steps to release mental pressure and avoid
problems later on.
Anyway I was all set for my fifteen minutes
journey to Coffee House. I walked for just a couple of minutes and
realized that it's not a good idea to go ahead. Walkway was not fully
clear, there were many icy patches in between. I was not feeling
comfortable going all the way. It's better to stop before getting into
any mishaps.
Nothing is the end of the world. To change plans is
not a big deal. I got rid of everything took a hot water shower to
freshen myself up to get ready to go ahead with my other day plan.
Sometimes we have to switch plans.
I took out my suitcase and
dumped everything out on my bed. I also spread clothes from my closet on
my bed to sort everything out. It was a mess for so long. Good idea to
organize clothes.
I am in my kitchen. First I have to make tea
for myself. We have to treat our body well to take her into the loop to
cooperate with our plans. There's always give and take in all
relationships. Keep that in mind. Nothing works one-sided.
