Don't have to wait for calls

Beautiful morning. Great weather. Not so cold, not too hot. It is 22 C, perfect for walk. It is 10.30, I am in my room, busy sorting things and clothes, to be packed for my trip to England. I have already put a clean garbage bag by the side of my wall cabinets. I will start dumping things here. It will easy to pack after. 

We don't have to be panicky at the last moment. Have to plan and manage things beforehand. It will release our pressure to meet deadlines. My flight is couple of days away. I have already planned my, "Things to do". I have to do my hair color and one load of laundry. 

Tomorrow I have to go to work. I love playing Darts. I won't have to miss that. I will be back after 12.30. I will have all day after. I will be fine. Not to worry about. We have to give positive messages to ourselves, of and on. It helps to release pressure, to calm you down. We won't be able to work under pressure. It wastes more time.

Yesterday, I went for my walk towards Metro side. I got Scotch tape, Sudoku and word search books from Dollarama. I will need these books during my flight, to get busy. Scotch tape, I need, to tape shampoo, Creams, perfume and some of medicines. Not to mess up other things in my suit case.

It is 11.15, my daughters are calling me from Reading and Grimsby. They are done with their work, going home. I know, our talk will not be long. Just to connect is also good. Our kids are usually busy, have other things to do. We have to appreciate for whatever time, they are able to be with, we parents.

We have to be thankful to them. Everyone likes to be appreciated, being critical and making complaints, never solves anything. Complaints spread negativity. It will ruin our day and also our relationships. 

It is 11.30, I am getting ready for my walk. We have to find things to get busy, to make our day. We don't have to wait for our kids phone calls. Not for people to give us company. Be yourself, get out. Plan your day. Kids and company, are always welcome. Don't have to wait for them. 

It is 12. 15, I am at Tim Hortons, enjoying glazed old style donuts and small tea. I am enjoying my time alone. Life is all Good. No complaints.

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away. I have to put Reverse Gear

  July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer. Computer is sort of Blessing for me. I don't know how my Mom used to pass her time without phone and computer. How come she

  June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
