David Austin Taking a Break
Beautiful morning with clear skies. Perfect weather not too hot, not too cold. It is 19 C, was rain last night. Everything in my back garden, looks great after having shower. Pink Canadian Roses, on the left, smiling in my flower bed. The Red Rose on the right, started budding, will open up in couple of days. The peach color, David Austin is taking a break.
Sun, up and above, is shining in full bloom. Deck is still wet. I have to skip my walk on deck. I am enjoying the scenic view, through the big patio doors. We have to take precautions, whenever required. Safety comes first, especially at our age. We don't have to be burden for our kids.
Our kids are already tied up with so many things of their own. Busy with work and matters of their own family. We have to be considerate. Try to manage our own things. Don't have to bother our kids, for our day to day matters. Have to find our own hobbies, our things to do, to get busy, to enjoy time on our own.
Last week, to surprise the Lucky Guy, my eldest grandson, we arranged party for his graduation. He looked happy. I think, was surprised too. We were also happy. While making other people's day, we get happiness in return. It always works like that. Trust me.
I called my youngest sister. She lives in Retirement home in Chicago. She was not feeling good, looked depressed. Didn't talk much, just few minutes, talked only about his health and depression. Looks, she gave up hope, losing her will power. Will power is like "Booster", keeps us motivating, to move on, to tackle our matters. I think "Will Power" is the gist, the essence of our life.
We lose will power, means, we lost everything. We have to safeguard, have to protect our will power, at any cost. It is so simple. Keep yourself away from thinking negative. Try to get yourself busy to distract yourself from negative thoughts. Keep your "Things to do" list, ready for the day. Keeping yourself busy, keeps you on the right track. The track of positive thoughts.
I have posted the blog in Smile Corner. The customers are lining up outside. They come to read the blog. There are lots of out of town customers too. Priest is also here. He comes here to make notes. The Mayor is also here today. The councillors are already here, of course.

You are the best Mother in law in the entire world. Your daughter in law is so lucky. You dont complain, you manage the kitchen, you do the cooking, you helped your grandson graduate. My mother in law is just the opposite.

Dear Madam Smile, you so good. You write good to. Happy Worker come and say me what you doing? Mr. Supervisor looking for you because lot people complaining to Mr. Supervisor. I say why they complaining . She say because you singing in office. I say yes because it very BIG day. My Madam grand baby now big boy and BIG graduate. Happy Worker say yes you right but why sing so loud. I say Job Worker 2 give me idea. She tell me that I should sing loud so all know and all celebrate. ReplyDeleteThe retirees were over joyed in reading your blog today. We are pleased to read about the graduation of your grandson. The hijab lady and her friends immediately starting chanting Ella Homa (or something like that). The restaurant manager looked like he was not pleased with this chanting because it bothers other customers however he didnt say anything to them. The restaurant manager is now even a bigger fan of yours. He openly says to everyone that he got his job back because of you.
In the light of this joyous occasion, the retirees also passed a resolution to remove your son from the past resolutions that were passed against him. The retirees also passed a motion to commend you for your kindness towards him. Retirees are still surprised that you are so kind that you continue to choose to overlook all his intentional and unintentional activities. Some retirees thought about the bus incident, the eye doctor episode, the doctor episode and many other incidents. However as per your request, we refrained from passing any resolutions against him

ReplyDeleteWe read you blog at the Smile Garden today. As is always the case, Mrs. Lucy was already there. She comes in early and always bring some treat for us to share. Today she brought bread pudding. This is based on a recipe that you shared a week ago..
The Dean was heard talking to Prof George and saying that this is a remarkable achievement and mainly because of you. The Smile Army were planning to do their celebrations today but they postponed that to some other day and instead celebrated the lucky guy’s achievement
Some of the other student graduates are also starting to have their graduation parties which is good as we are getting lots of presents. The graduates are getting cars but some are upset that they not getting Mercedes and other name brands. In a small no. of cases, the parents are also talking about jobs. This is happening very often, like at least 1 min in 4 weeks or so. Parents dont realize that this is causing a lot of mental duress on us. What if they have lost jobs and we keep asking how many interviews you got? Besides we are planning to enjoy the summer and start looking after about a year.
