Pink Roses Look Shy
It is 9.15, mixed sunny cloudy, humid morning. I am done with my breakfast, now walking in my back garden. Three Red Roses giving me smile from the flower bed. Two Pink Roses look shy, still giving color, adding up the beauty of the view. It is great experience to be part of the atmosphere loaded with fragrance.
My friend, the White Butterfly is also here, to make my day. She is busy talking to the flowers of her choice, sharing her moments to cherish. It always gives us pleasure, to be with friends, we love to be.
My friend, the Black Squirrel is also here. He is walking around, busy with his morning walk. I think, he is done with his exercises. He is an early riser, use to come for his exercises, early mornings. He takes the wooden fence of my garden, like his Gym. He takes care of his body. Looks smart.
My youngest daughter just called me from Grimsby. She is at her sister's place for couple of days. They are making plans to enjoy time together. She was talking to me about all that. You feel good to share your special moments with someone you trust. You believe that, the person will love to hear about all that.
My youngest sister's called me yesterday. I was surprised. She didn't call me for years. I use to call her, to keep connection alive. She lives in "Retirement Home", in Chicago. I always feel for her. She is not in good shape, sort of depressed, her health is deteriorating day by day. When your will power is low, everything starts going down hill. You start losing control on your mind and body.
She called me, looked happy and excited. Our Face reflects our emotions. We can read how the person is feeling. It gives the weather report of our inside. When we are away and make calls, our tone plays major role. It reflects our emotions. our inside weather. She told me that her daughter is going to be married in December.
Kids play very important role in our lives. We get happiness, to see our kids happy. We feel for them. My sister was feeling very low for years. Things are same for her but her will power is not the same. She got a boost, knowing that her daughter is to be married.
She posted her daughter's picture with the Groom to be, with a caption. " New Life Begins". I am happy for her. Things are now changed for her. I think, she also, will start a new life. Hope so.
Kids definitely play major role in our lives. No doubt about that. Our youth, our kids are our future, our asset. May God keep looking after them. Amen.
I have posted the blog in Smile Corner. As usual, the Security Guards returned from day off yesterday. I give them a day off because they get really busy during the days when you post the blogs. It is even more busy when you post the recipe blogs so I want the Security Guards to be well rested. Customer lines up right after work so they can get front in the line. The priest is usually first because his family loves your recipe. He takes 2 copies.

ReplyDeleteSWS was great. We took the nature route as Smile made us look at nature differently. As usual, we talked about today's blog. We were all wearing masks of course.

SWN was fun too. The participants were from all lobbies. We also talked about her blogs. We were not wearing masks but we were social distancing and masks are not required outdoors when there is social distancing

I sory I no wait for more time after 1 box fresh donut. The bakery make some donut each batch, I get first one. They know that I there every day so they give me first batch donuts in box. I wait for 45 minutes with mask but no able wait more time because my son sick

Dear Madam Smile, you so good. You write good to. Wicked worker come and say me how you. I say I no want talk you because you wicked. She say who tell you these bad thing. I say my Madam tell me no talk you because you always trick me. Wicked worker say if I trick you then why would give idea to you to get job back and give you cake. I say yes you get good point. Wicked worker say I also tell you no need thank me too. I say yes you right. Job worker 2 then say now that I get you help job back I will try to get you good job. I say what you mean. Job worker 2 say remember I tell you that you job no good. I say yes. Job worker 2 say to get good job you need fire you. I say but what will I do. Job worker 2 say I have to think of plan. I say thank but job worker 2 say no say that. She then give me 2 lists to get grocery for her. I do 2 ok job and always read blog

ReplyDeleteWe appreciate your blog today. The retired gardener, the retired author and the retired artist all wanted to lead the reading of the blog. Some retirees asked the retired artist whe she should be a candidate for leading the reading? The retired artist smiled and said that Smile is not just an author but she paints portraits with her words. All you have to do is to close your eyes and you can imagine the beauty of her garden. In the end, we asked each of them to read one section each. Leading the blog reading is the highest honour for the retirees. A close second is listening to the reading and participating in these sessions
The retirees are having challenges with our kids. They dont give us time. They spend more time with their kids than us. This is an issue for us. We are wondering what your suggestion is. We also get bored and dont know what to do. Can you help?
The Smile with Smile program is also asking if you can provide them some advice for the issue that I reported 2 days ago. I know that you sometimes do not get our comments so I am repeating the problem. Some of the patients in the hospital are Covid patients. They have are getting close to recovery and the doctors are suggesting that they should be going home however the patients are addicted to your blogs and the food based on your recipes. The patients are refusing to go home and faking their symptoms. The doctors have requested the hospital administrator to ask you for help because these are your die hard fans and addicted to both your blog as well as the recipes. One of the doctor suggested that the hospital suspend the Smile with Smile program. This way the patients will not get the blog or foods based on your recipe. The hospital administrator set up a board to review this suggestion but the board said that this is not a good idea as the blogs are critical to mental health and the food is crucial for well being. Can you please help?

This blog was very useful for me in my business meeting today. Our surveys have indicated that we are having issues with customer service. Our VP of customer service has been trying different options. Your advice on improving the tone was extremely helpful. The VP Customer Service immediately implemented that and did a quick survey. The initial results were very promising. Based on this we are implementing a program where all the customer service agents will need to use an improved tone during their telephonic conversation

After the blog was read, Prof George commented to a senior professor in the English Literature department that you know how to capture the mood of the season as well. The professor did not understand that so Prof George elaborated that during the summer, you describe the lazy summer activities. During Winter you describe different activities. This is not easy to do. The Dean overheard all this conversation, and mentioned to Prof George that your blogs are at such a high degree of expertise that even Senior English Literature professors dont completely understand it. Smile Army heard this comment and started raising slogans for you
