Put Your Heart into it

Beautiful mixed sunny cloudy morning. Raining for couple of days, off and on. It is 9.50, I am just done with my breakfast. No car today as my daughter in law has to go to work, in person, on Fridays. I have my day plan handy for today. We always have to keep Plan B ready, to deal with, whatever is there. I am planning to go to "Metro" for Blueberry Muffins. They have good bakery stuff. 

I will go to "Dollarama" too, to get chocolates and some other things. It is good store with variety of things, under your budget. I got socks, pack of six for four Dollars, last year from there. These are done now, have to get another pack. Kids love chocolate. I keep box full of variety of chocolates, in my room. They come to my room to snack, once a while. I get happiness out of that.

I have my small bag ready, with Masks and empty bags, don't have to get bags from the store. We have to keep track of the environment. Have to reuse our bags for shopping, whenever, we can. I put my small pouch, with my Credit and Cash Cards, in my small bag, now ready to go, to walk to the shopping Plaza. I will go to the bank too, to get some cash. I feel good when kids sometimes ask cash for their haircuts or for other things.

I am taking my maroon umbrella too. It is cloudy can start drizzling any time. We have to be ready for anything, just in case. It helps for smooth running of our plans. Get ready beforehand, to face whatever might be there. 

It is 10. 15, I am on the road, walking by the side of Whites Road. It looks busy with lot of traffic. It is morning, sun still hiding under the hazy blanket. It is light drizzle. I see the drops like pearls all around, on the green, by the side walk. Amazing. 

I am done with my bank, now at Dollarama, getting chocolates for kids and socks and two bath towels for myself. Going now to Metro for Muffins, will get two bananas for milkshake too. Bananas are done, I just remembered. Metro has a beautiful Flower section. I will take time to smell the fragrance, and to share their smile, to get happiness, to make my day. We have to take a break to smell the Roses, whenever, we can. 

It is 11.30, I am done, now walking back, with three bags, fully loaded. I got carried away, got some extra. Anyway, done is done. I am OK, not tired. Enjoying the beauty around, the scenery, the drizzle, the smiling flowers around. I think when your heart is into it, you enjoy, never get tired. Same is with work and school. Put your heart into it, things will start looking great.

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away. I have to put Reverse Gear

  July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer. Computer is sort of Blessing for me. I don't know how my Mom used to pass her time without phone and computer. How come she

  June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
