White fence by roadside

May be an image of cake

It's nearly mid January wintry days and still not much snow around.

I see only silver linings on the walkways and a low white fence of snow by the roadside.

It is the beauty of Toronto that snow here doesn't stay long. I remember the winter in Ottawa. I used to live there around thirty years ago.

Winter was tough over there. Ice used to float on the surface of water even in the month of May. Snow piled up all around the city and looked like a hillock.

We had to deal with the frozen doors of cars and to start also used to be a challenge. Here in Toronto we don't have to deal with such problems.

Today the weather is nice. It is still cold and windy. There are no icy patches, that is enough to go for a walk. We have to make use of the available circumstances.

Things change, so is life. Our health will not be the same as today. Anything might happen at any age God forbid. We can't predict what will be in the coming days.

We have to make our present, our today. Take one day at a time. Too much worry about tomorrow spoils our today.

Make your time in hand. Moments keep on slipping for never to come back. Keep that in mind.

I am getting ready for my walk to the coffee house. Ready to get out to change my scenery. To enjoy my time outside. To enjoy the breeze and coffee later on.

We are the commander of our life. Everything is in our hands. We are in charge of making or ruining our time. It all depends on us how we take our life. Choices are ours. We have to make decisions.
