Walking at Whites Road

Today the weather is great. No snow, no rain. It's a bright beautiful sunny morning.
I am planning to go for my walk after a long time. I was not taking any chances because of icy conditions.
Most of the time the walkways are cleared off still some icy patches are there to deal with while walking through. We have to be careful not to get carried away.
We still have so many other things to get busy. To enjoy our time indoors. We have to make adjustments accordingly. Anyway I am all set ready to walk. Ready to enjoy my time outdoors.
It is 10.30, I am at Tim Hortons. This is sort of my second home. The library I take as my work place. I take playing Darts as my working part time.
I think there's nothing wrong with making things up to boost yourself. To elevate your mood. At the later stage of life after our retirement we need to work on to maintain the health of our mind and body.
To feel good, to elevate our mood and attitude has to be a priority all the time. It is more important after we retire. We start thinking low. Start having a feeling that our life is now done.
We are just like an extra piece, useless. Nobody cares about me. We think that we don't fit anywhere. Our thoughts, our opinions are outdated. We start feeling down. Start living in our past. Thinking about the days we were working and living an active life.
We don't realize that it is done. We avoid facing reality. We are scared and reluctant to face that. We keep living in illusion. We start losing friends and company. No one wants to listen to that.
We start feeling lonely. That damages our positive attitude. Attitude is the key. It matters a lot to manage our mood swings. We start looking at our life and the things around with a different perspective.
Try to take care of yourself. Try to take measures to keep your mind and body healthy before it will be late. Get involved in things to keep yourself busy. Don't leave any slot open into your day schedule to let negative thoughts enter. Life will be all good.
One of the members of my readers family mentioned in his comments, “ life is a bed of roses, be careful of thorns. “. I liked that concept. A different way of looking at life. I admire your positive thoughts my friend.
