With love from Canada
It's the 24th of August 2025. Today is the first morning for me in Canada after six weeks. Home sweet home. We always miss that.
Sometimes we don't, much. Travel nowadays is so common. It is a small world now. Things have now changed from that in our time.
Travel
is very common, still families are far apart. Not able to make plans to
see their loved ones. Kids like to travel to their favorite places with
company of their choice. Their parents are busy with work and family.
No time to plan to see their parents.
We, parents, are at the
later stages of our life. For us it's tough to go to visit them. We
still try our best to connect with our kids and grand kids. Don't know
for how long we are able to make that.
Every trip looks like that, this is the last one. May God keep us mobile to give us strength to make it for some more times.
My
trip to England is like a dream. With our loved ones every place looks
wonderful. Every day with moments to cherish. My daughters made my days
memorable. Taking time off from their busy schedule. I feel like a lucky
mom.
My grand kids were also there for me whenever they were
able to make it. It was great with their work. I feel happy and highly
appreciate them for not being sick of their grandma.
We at
our age are at different wavelengths. I think with love, the generation
gap doesn’t matter anymore. I am so thankful to them.
My trip to
London never completes without walking by Tames. Taking a tour of
Trafalgar, Big Ben, Charing Cross, Hyde Park and Oxford Street. I
enjoyed sitting on the upper deck of the public bus with my daughters.
A
couple of my grand kids were able to make it for me. Thanks to them for
making my day brighter and making my moments memorable to cherish.
Today
is my first day in Pickering, Canada. It's 8.30 in the morning. I am
done with my breakfast getting ready to go to have my morning coffee at
Tim Hortons. Tim Hortons, I take as my second home.
Small coffee
with three parts of hot water, three creams and one sugar. We have to be
careful what we take, what we eat, especially at our age. I can't enjoy
strong coffee. Do whatever you like to make your day. Life will be
good.
