Paris On Road

It's 13th of August, I am back in Grimsby. Done with my trip to France. It was short and sweet. Just for two days in Paris. Three of my four daughters were there. 

I missed one of my daughters, the eldest one. She lives in Edmonton, Canada. Too much for her to make it. My son was also there. He took a direct flight from Toronto to Paris.

They all arranged the Paris trip for me, and were there with their families. One of my  granddaughters was with her five months old baby. Four generations were there. Amazing.

We were in Paris for two days. Sometimes time freezes, sometimes flies too soon. It all depends on the company. Company is everything that matters.

The people around you make a difference in changing your mood. It doesn't matter, they are family or not. They have to be like minded. People who are not on the same wavelength will ruin your day. Time freezes at that time.

Try to pick the right company, especially while going on trips. You will be stuck otherwise. We humans are not robots. Things around affect our mood, our personality. 

Try to pause, to smell the roses and take time to be with the company of your choice. Life will be all good. No worries.

    It's Tuesday, I have my day off. I don't work on Tuesdays. Monday was a close holiday because of Victoria day.  She helped Canada to make the Charter of Democracy. We remember that and celebrate. From Camberley to Kent

          Now I am on a road trip for a while, I  was at my youngest daughter's place in Camberley.  Last night I came to Kent at my other daughter's house. Her son picked me up. He came with his younger brother. Insisted me to have the front seat. Lucky me. Kent is a small historical town. I like its High Street. At one end of the street are the old castle and Church. This Church is the second oldest after Canterbury Church. I like to walk around. The castle is sort of challenging for me to walk uphill. I like the beautiful interior architecture of the Church. Such a peaceful atmosphere to sit for a while. On the High Street there is Morley bakery and Coffee House. It was established in 1985. I like to sit there to enjoy tea over there. I like historical places.  So many Charity shops are all lined up on the High Street, I like Charity shops. So many antiques to look around. Nature is great

     October 29th 2024 It's a different scenario today. Cloudy morning hazy sky. Sun is hiding under his gray blanket. It is Tuesday so I don't have to go to work. No Darts today at the library. It is a day off for me. I have to make other plans to make my day. Day offs are like clean slates. We have to write our schedule to fill out the columns of the day. When we have to go to work or school, our timings are all set.  We don't have to worry about how to pass our time. We have just a couple of hours left to sort out after coming back from our workplace or school. Weekends and day offs are tricky. We need some homework to fill out our day slots. Try to make it like a combo, a mixed plate to have a taste of everything. Day offs are like blank sheets. We can write, paint, whatever we want to do, to fill out.
