It is 12.30, 6 C below zero, feels like 14 C below. Bright and beautiful day. Earlier, it was a bit cloudy, not any more. Sky looks like a vast canvas with amazing water color paintings, in all shades of Blue and Grey, mixed with milky white color. Sun is awake. He just started coming out of his Grey blanket. He will change the entire scenario, will brighten our day. Thanks dear. So nice of you. 

It is Tuesday, not a working day. Christmas holidays are still on, as 25th was on Sunday so we got couple of extra days to balance it out. Kids are home, enjoying their sleep, must be awake late night. It is their time, all depends, how they make their plans to enjoy their time. We have to leave them alone. Let them enjoy their life.

My back problem was bad for couple of days. Sometimes, I had to take pain medicine too, which I rarely take. Ointment, Hand Massager and heating pad worked well. It is much better today. I am working tomorrow. I will decide in the morning, to go or to skip. Why to worry now. Take one step at a time. Make decisions for what to do at this moment. Have to go to my kitchen to make Banana shake. 

I got one pack of frozen mixed Berries, while doing groceries with my son, at Freshco store. I will mix that with Banana. It will be great. My son will like that. My eldest grandson is awake. He will like that too. My youngest one, the Slurpee Boy wants peanut butter sandwich with hot chocolate milk. I will do that. 

It is amazing feeling, while we are able to do things for our loved ones. Looks great to put smile on the faces around. Especially at our age, it matters a lot. We feel elevated, our will power gets boost up. It adds up our confidence. We start feeling that we are not retired anymore. We can make difference in the lives of people around. We are in the Rink. We still matter.

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer. Computer is sort of Blessing for me. I don't know how my Mom used to pass her time without phone and computer. How come she

  June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
