Happy New Year 2023 

to All My Dear Readers

New year is just a day away. " Ring out the old and Ring in the New ". We will make new resolutions, get ambitious, carried away, to make our plans. It will be tough for us, to fulfill our promises. Try to be realistic, while making promises. Just try to be yourself. Nothing is end of the world. Do what you like, what you can do. Don't cross your limits. 

Reality is that, we all be one more year older. One more year is going down  the drain. Try to make use of the moments in hand. Be happy and let others be happy too. Mind your own business. Don't have to intrude into the personal matters of other people. Respect everyone's privacy and their emotions. Life will be good for everyone.

My eldest daughter in Edmonton, got proposed. She is living by herself. She has two sons, one is done with his medical degree, working in States. The younger one, is in third year Uni, lives with her. Not easy to manage the entire house, single handedly. You can't rely on kids. They have their own, "things to do", also busy with studies.

I take it as a positive step in her life. She is not even fifty, long way to go. Life is like a combo. You have to come across various moments. Mixed of sweet and bitter. Life is not like, as in fairy tales. Not easy, on Bumpy roads of life, to travel alone. Someone by her side, will be great. He is a nice fellow, as far as I know. No one can predict, what the real person, be inside, until you have an experience to live with. 

To be with someone, is always, a "Give and Take". Nothing is total plus. Keep that in mind. Needs lots of patience. Have to respect each other's privacy. Trust is key to get along, to go hand in hand, on the unpaved path. Trails of life, are not full of roses. There are bushes all around. You have to find your way through, to pick flowers of happiness, to make your days and to spread happiness around. Always be positive, things will be fine.

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer.   June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
