Looks Breezy still Hot

It is 9.30 morning, looks breezy, still hot day. Bright sunny 29 C feels like 37. I am sitting in my eat in kitchen, having my breakfast, enjoying the view of my back garden. Looks quiet over there. No birds, no squirrels. There was rain last night so Grass is green, flowers smiling on the back, in my flower bed. 

I was up late this morning. Didn't have good sleep at night. I was keeping myself busy, shunting between my bed and my computer, playing scrabble and Card games. Things start happening at our age, just take it with patience and grace. We have to adjust with the things around. I don't have to go to work. My Tuesdays are off. Getting up late was not a big deal. Now will start my day schedule. 

Workers are still at my house, painting is in progress. Downstairs still not done. Hose is in a mess. My daughter, the middle one is coming from Grimsby, on 30th of July with her husband and her youngest son, he is in high school, so free to enjoy his holidays. They will be leaving on August 26th. 

Two of her in law brothers live in Belleville, one and half hour driving distance away from my place in Pickering. One is in States, not far, five hours away from Belleville. They will be spending time with them too. I don't know how much time, I will be able to enjoy with my daughter, my son in law and with my grandson. Let's see. Always hope for the good.

My youngest daughter just called me from Reading, her school holidays already started. She told me about the wildfires erupted in many parts of London, in Croydon and Dartford. I was at these places so many times, while visiting my daughters in England. I can easily visualize these locations. 

Heat wave nowadays is everywhere, especially things are not good in Europe. Some states in America are also facing difficult time, no rains. May God help everyone out. Amen. We, in Toronto also sitting in 38 C. Thank God our AC is working. I am using my fan too on top. Sun looks shining in full bloom outside. Must be very hot.

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer. Computer is sort of Blessing for me. I don't know how my Mom used to pass her time without phone and computer. How come she

  June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
