White Stuff showering from up and above

It is Friday, I have to leave at 9.30 for my work to play Darts. Before that I have to make breakfast and lunch for my youngest grandson, my Slurpee Boy. He has to go to school. I will make burger for his lunch, he likes that. I feel lucky to be with people around, to do things for them, to put smile on their faces and to get happiness in return. 

Doesn't matter, we are living with family of our own or with our kids families or living alone. We always have chance to find people. People are all around, at our school, at our work place, in our neighborhood, in our Retirement homes. Give them smile, be polite, be kind. Have patience, listen to them to share their matters, whatever they like to talk to you. Don't be inquisitive, don't try to cross your limits. Respect their privacy. Just try to listen. Try to let go. Try to put smile on the faces around.

Listening is great skill. There is big difference between listening and hearing. Listening is when our entire body is into it, not just our ears. It needs lots of patience. You unconsciously give silent messages of peace and tranquility to others, to let them open up, to talk, to share. They feel comfortable, to be around your personality.

Patience is virtue. It controls our Mood swing. Imparts peace and calmness into our nature. Transforms our personality to move into positive directions. We, not easily get flared up by other people's difference of opinions and criticism. Negativity wont be getting an easy passage to go through. We get into a habit of thinking twice before taking any drastic action. Patience is a real virtue. No doubt about that.

It is 12.30, I am back from work. Snow is all around. White stuff is showering from up and above. Skeleton trees look great, beautifully decorated with white stuff. My driveway is all coated white. My Black Lexus is covered under white sheet. It is a total different scenario from, what I left at the time of my work. Things change. So is life. Value the moments in hand. Present moment is everything.

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away. I have to put Reverse Gear

  July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer.   June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
