All Set To Be Back To Life

It is Friday nearly end of March. Couple of days back, snow was everywhere. Driveways all coated with with white stuff. Today is total different scenario. Total change of scenery. My back garden is all set, back to be lush green. Just matter of time, my flower bed at the back, will be full of colors. 

My Deck still not completely out of the white stuff. I see small white patch at the left side of my Deck. It will be melted down soon. Sun is awake, peeping out of his hazy blanket. He will make sure to change things. 

I can hear birds. I think they are back from South of the Border. All set for the good days ahead, to get out, to enjoy our outdoor activities.

Red wooden bench is shining on my front garden. Snow all gone, just a small white patch on the corner of my garden. I can see a clear green tinge on the body of my Magnolia tree. Skeleton trees around, also not so shaky. Everyone getting ready, to be back to life. This is beauty of life. Things change.

It is 9.30, I am sitting in my room with my switched on computer. I can talk to my daughters, connect to my loved ones. Thinking of my Mom, she didn't have any of such tools. No Phone, No Internet, No computer. Not any outdoor activities to enjoy her time. I wonder how she managed. I still remember her smiling face. 

I think our elders had lots of patience and contentment, which we lack. They valued whatever they had. No complaints, no grievances. No negative thoughts to spoil their days, their life. 

We have so many things to enjoy, to pass our time, still not enough. we have no control on our stray wishes, which lead us to jealousies. We don't enjoy what we have. Feel miserable, deprived, like a defeated person, who is not able to get the luxury of life, he deserves. 

This all changes our life, deviates from the right track to go to wrong direction, full of negativity. Not much to enjoy and be grateful. We lose our inner peace and happiness.

I think we have to harness our stray wishes to lead a happy life. I believe, this is a simple Recipe to live happily, full of life. Life is same for everyone. All depends how we take it.

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away. I have to put Reverse Gear

  July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer. Computer is sort of Blessing for me. I don't know how my Mom used to pass her time without phone and computer. How come she

  June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
