Moments slipping from our hands
I am happy, in just couple of months I have seen all of my daughters.
Now will go back to my normal routine, to my Senior Club, to Library,
my second home, to Tim Horton and my kitchen. I will be fine.
August 25th -- My Grandson, the eldest son of my daughter, who lives in
Edmonton, has passed his Exams. He is doing Medicine. We are going to
celebrate, will have Dinner tonight at Tangerine, the Chinese Restaurant.
We have to value such moments to acknowledge and share the happiness.
This matters a lot to connect and help to boost our bond with our kids and
grand kids.
August 31st -- My daughter left for Edmonton. Her flight was at 10 in
the morning. Last night was very busy. We went to have dinner at
someone's place. She is my late brother in law's daughter.
My husband must be watching over us, from above, will be happy for
keeping our connection alive. After dinner, my son took us to downtown
tour. We were back around midnight.
My daughter's stay was very short just for ten days but enough for me
to enjoy. We have to value whatever is there. Moments go on slipping from
our hands, are quickly changed from present to past.
I didn't have good night sleep, also have to be up early to say good bye
to my daughter. Anyway, she left, her flight was at 10 in the morning.
I am getting ready to go for my walk to Tim Horton, to have my coffee,
to enjoy my time.
We have to take action before we start feeling low and start thinking
negative. I called one of my friend, her dog passed away last week. She
is not in good shape. I have to talk to her, have coffee together, to make
her day brighter.
This week I have to miss my club as I will be busy with community
meetings. We have to divide our routine life into slots, so not to get bored,
to get busy and to distract ourselves from thinking negatives.
Take everything like faucets of happiness. Drain whatever you can from
the moments in hand. Keep yourself busy with things you like to do.
This is the Recipe to get Happiness. You will never go wrong with that.

Dear Kris, ask my Friend Hannah, to come back. I don't want my Friend,
Niklas, to miss his classes for the sake of Father's enjoyment. Don't cut his
phone and let him play his Games. He will manage his studies. I trust him.
I have posted the blog in Smile Corner however lots of customers thought that I am making this up as the fresh blog does not get posted until Saturday morning. I explained to everyone that you posted early this week but customers thought that I am tricking them so there can be more sales. I asked them to read the blog for themselves as they will know that I cant just create this quality and cant just copy from anywhere else because the quality in the blog and your folksy style is very unique. However customers didnt believe me and said they will only read tomorrow as this is a trick for me to get them in the Smile cafe. The priest was not helping as well. He shook his head and said to others that it is sad how low someone can go to make money. I now have to file bankruptcy as my creditors are asking for payment and I dont have any money. I will close the door for good tomorrow. I do want to apologize to you again for bringing up my problems during your vacation.

ReplyDeleteThe retirees were very surprised and pleased to read you blog today. As your blog usually comes on Saturdays, having it available on Friday morning was a pleasant surprise. Many retirees were not present initially as we had a fairly big event yesterday and they were not expecting another blog today. The event yesterday is a weekly gathering where we get together to go through your recipe blog. It is extremely popular and the cafe manager gives a big discount also. Hospital administrator, retired chef, physicians,ex patients and many others are here for the reading.
We celebrated your grandson's achievement today. The cafe manager offered everyone free dessert for the occasion. We also noticed that you have started community meetings. Some retirees surmised that you are probably running for elections or supporting a candidate of your choice in the upcoming Canadian elections.
The temple people were not here today nor were they here yesterday. This is somewhat concerning as they are always here for the readings. The retired priest mentioned to us that he is hearing a lot of commotion in the temple for the past few days. He lives near the temple and pointed out that people are blocking his driveway at night. He also said that they are probably harming kids again as he saw that they separated men and women into different sections. This is a big concern to many retirees as it involves women liberation as well as child welfare concerns. He requested us to allow him to work with the retired police investigators. Due to the seriousness of the situation, we agreed that this will be the right course of action. They will figure out a strategy to observe the situation. The retired judge, retired police officer, retired spy are also involved in this investigation. The retired social activist and the retired children aid worker have also been asked to be on standby. The retired priest is incharge of the operation. I will provide you an update next week

ReplyDeleteWe were very surprised and very pleased to see your blog today. This being Friday, we read your blog at the SRC. We plan to read it again at the Smile Platform tomorrow. The faculty of Psychology was invited to the reading today and the senior professors were amazed. They said that Smile has an uncanny ability to live in the present. The Dean was here and smiled at the comment. He said that if you read her history, you would not be surprised at all. She is not a normal human being but way different than others.
The Dean and Prof George are regularly coming to the readings. We still dont know what happened when they missed for a few days. IT was clear that something was going on but we dont know exactly what it was and if it has been resolved.
The students are having a hard time with our parents. They expect that we will call them. In one case, the parents expected that their daughter will call once every 2 weeks. And thats not all, they expected her to talk for 4-5 minutes! They dont realize that we have classes and so many other things to do. We know that the lucky guy does not have to worry about it but for us its a big problem. Even for those students who are staying with their families, the parents at times ask them to go to church. The problem is that we are not interested and dont care. They dont understand and say we should go at least once in a while. We dont know what to do and how to explain it to them
