Morning Dew

It is 7 am I take couple of minutes
to lie down on my bedroom carpet
to feel the Earth 
it gives so much relaxation
enough to start my day

While in England I missed my
morning ritual as in my Box room
not enough space but I had
other bonus to balance that
the smiling face of My Daughter
and my Grand kids around

In North America we have
spacious bedrooms so I can
 do that no problem

It is cool morning I picked up
my black pants and navy blue 
cotton shirt which I got last year
from Marks and Spencer in London

It is Friday so will play Darts 
and after that Carpet Bowling
I will be back around 3 pm

 My Bus stop is just 2 minutes 
away from my Place
My son keeps in mind while
changing houses that bus stop
has to be at walking distance
He knows I don't drive and
can't stay home

It is 9.20 in the morning
temperature is 16 a bit cooler
I can still see the Morning Dew
glittering in the sunshine

Birds are chirping and beautiful
flowers in the front yard of
some houses adding color 
to the festive atmosphere

I am enjoying while waiting
for my Bus # 120 to take me
to HW # 2 from there I will take
Bus # 900 to my Club
it costs me Dollar 2.50 for
my one way senior Fare

In England after 65 you can travel
for free if you are Citizen

Such a beautiful scenic atmosphere
to enjoy but I have to go to my
Club to do some physical exercise
to push myself and to get going
we have to keep balance 
our Mind and our Body

      Dear Madam Smile, I had tears of happy when I read your comment specially about me. I dont deserve it. I cannot imagine that you will think about someone like me. I know my English not good. I do 2 jobs and even then barely pay bills. I cannot even imagine that you will write for me. Thank You.

    My Smile is awesome. She starts the day with physical exercise, meditation, does not rely on anyone to get around, is full of energy. We are lucky that she considers us her readers Family

    The daily dose of good writing continues from Smile. One thing which came across to me was Smile's generosity. She is so generous, that she considers all gestures of her only son as positive. For example, she pointed out that he gets houses near bus stops so she can move around. Of course, he does that. If he does not, who will go and get money for him. Who will go and get groceries to feed his young bums. If he has a car, he should be the one driving around Smile and not asking Smile to take a bus or walk. But Smile is so kind that she ignores his antics

    Smile's daily routine is difficult to follow for a 30 year old let alone a senior citizen. No wonder the retirees are asking her for advice. She is simply amazing.

    Not just that, she is taking care of his only son also. He is doing nothing but asking her to get money for him while watching TV on his comfy lazyboy

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer.   June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
