I am sitting in the beautiful
Back garden of my Nephew's House
in Essex County

Back Garden is small but very well planned
big swimming pool in the center
rest of the backyard space
is covered with pebbles
all around green tall trees
Flowering plants in the pots

Variety of Ceramic pot collection
Engraved steel grey  --  Bluish Grey
Reddish brown ---  white china bowl
very different variety of pots

Muddy color stony boot shaped
bird bath with stony beautiful bird
taking a sip from the boot

Couple of bird feeders hanging
in the garden the one caught
my eyes was wire basket
shaped feeder

In the corner two faded green color
wooden benches are placed
under the shade of big tree
I am sitting on one of these benches
its faded green color
giving a very natural touch

Under my feet  dry grass
adding the beauty of atmosphere
in this very small corner
It is so relaxing I can sit for hours
doing nothing just having a feel
of the quietness
you can only hear birds chirping

Next is summer house like a
small shed for my Nephew's two kids
who are now in university
so the summer house is converted
into Gym place
at one corner is a faded colored
wooden well giving a village touch
Couple of days back I was in the famous
Kew Garden
believe me sitting in this corner
looks to me a Micro picture of that
I am completely to myself
if we keep our eyes open
it is so much to see so much to absorb
and so much to enjoy

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer. Computer is sort of Blessing for me. I don't know how my Mom used to pass her time without phone and computer. How come she

  June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
