Life is all good

It is Sunday today. One more week will be gone. Days are slipping like the moments in our life. Another new year is closer by, just a couple of weeks to go.

My trip to England is just a couple of days away. My daughters are excited, making plans to enjoy the time with me together. I am excited too, still under pressure.

Travel nowadays is not the same as years ago. I used to carry two suitcases free of cost. Not anymore. I have to pay even for one. My limit is 23 kg. I have to pick and choose to carry what I need over there.

Anyway, I will go for that. Kids are busy with work and with the matters of their own family. Not their fault. It is their age. Parents have to go.  We have to make plans to keep connections alive with our kids and their family.

The weather is great, not too cold. Not below zero. For now I am getting ready to go for my walk. Time to enjoy the colors and the beauty of the nature around. Packing is not urgent. I will think about that later.

  Great morning. Beautiful day, a bit cold. It is 11 C, I have to take out my fawn color sweater to wear underneath my jacket. That will be perfect for this weather. Every night is not the same as our days. I had a good sleep last night, got up early to start my day. It is 8.30, I am in my kitchen making my oatmeal porridge for my breakfast. I won't be having tea /coffee at home. I will walk to the coffee house to get my coffee. It's good to check the weather before starting your day. It helps to chalk out our day plan. The weather shows light showers from 11 am. I have to pick my red umbrella, my favorite one for the way back from the coffee house. I am all set to start my walk. The trees around are still green. Time to take a break

  It is a cold bright morning of the 6th of January. Chances of freezing rain ice pallets later on.  My walk outside is on hold for a while. Safety is a priority for everyone. We have to be extra careful at the later stages of our life. It looks like a different scenario with snow all around. The trees are decorated with white powder and loaded with cottony flowers. It is so peaceful, calm and quiet. Winter is the time to take a break. To stay indoors. To focus on your inner self. Time to talk to yourself. To listen to your inner thoughts. Time to take a break from your busy schedules. Every season has its own beauty. Its own identity. We can plan accordingly, to get busy and enjoy our time. We humans are amazing. We can make adjustments with any of our surroundings. Winter is the time to skate to play ice hockey. To plan skiing and ice fishing. It's time to hit the water. Take a break slow down

  Beautiful morning. Great scenic atmosphere. Pink Canadian roses are smiling. The grass is lush green.  A couple of birds are having a party in my backyard. Two squirrels are playing hide and seek under the Maple tree. The small brown rabbit is sitting quietly on the left side. I think he is enjoying his own company and is here to behold the scenery too. It is early morning 8.30, I am sitting on one of the red knitted steel garden chairs. I am having my breakfast on the deck, like to be a part of all these beautiful moments to cherish. The sky is like a clean slate. An untouched canvas with a couple of grayish abstract sketches. The entire atmosphere is so peaceful, we can sit quietly here to meditate. The atmosphere is loaded with the fragrance of flowers. My flower bed at the back is looking beautiful with golden yellow, blood red, white and purple seasonal flowers. The red garden chair my son got from the Canadian Tire store years ago is at the corner to lie down to relax....
