I am in the Food Court

It's Saturday, Black Friday sale is still on. I am at Pickering Town Center. I don't have any shipping list, nothing to buy in my mind. At our age, we already have so much stuff. Our suitcase Is filled and our cupboards are loaded with things. We rarely have any occasions to wear and use all that.

Our kids and loved ones also go on showering gifts. They know that our days are now numbered. We can leave any time soon. It is nice of them to buy gifts for us. They have to think twice before wasting money on expensive gifts for their parents. It is my humble advice.

I know that our days are numbered, still we don't know the numbers. No one knows that. Everyone is waiting for His call. It's all in His hands. We can get calls at any age. It doesn't matter that people are at whatever stage of their cycle of life. It all depends on His decisions.

He knows what will be the best for His creatures. We don't. We just waiting at the last leg of our life۔ We know that, still we don't know how many more days we are here. We don't know our numbers like everybody else.

Gifts are great to give and also to accept. It boosts relationships and love. No doubt about that, still kids please don't waste so much to buy things for us. Don't know for how long we are here. We won't be happy to feel that you start thinking of your parents as a burden or liability.

We love you, don't want to make any dent in our relationships out of buying these gifts for us. We like to have things from you. That matters a lot to us. Don't buy expensive stuff. Gifts are gifts, cost doesn't matter. Love and sentiments only matter. We love to have that from your side. That’s it. Keep that in mind. Love you.

I am in Pickering Town Center, sitting in the food court, enjoying my small tea with plain  croissants. It's a buzzing atmosphere. There are so many people around. Christmas decorations also started to give color to the center. I am enjoying all that to make my day. Life is all good.

    Beautiful morning sunny and bright. No more rain. We had already more than enough of it. Grass and flowers, don't need any watering. Nature is great

     October 29th 2024 It's a different scenario today. Cloudy morning hazy sky. Sun is hiding under his gray blanket. It is Tuesday so I don't have to go to work. No Darts today at the library. It is a day off for me. I have to make other plans to make my day. Day offs are like clean slates. We have to write our schedule to fill out the columns of the day. When we have to go to work or school, our timings are all set.  We don't have to worry about how to pass our time. We have just a couple of hours left to sort out after coming back from our workplace or school. Weekends and day offs are tricky. We need some homework to fill out our day slots. Try to make it like a combo, a mixed plate to have a taste of everything. Day offs are like blank sheets. We can write, paint, whatever we want to do, to fill out.       October 22nd 2024 Great morning 18C. It is like summer for Canadians. Couple of more days to enjoy the outdoors.  Beautiful leaves of all colors are everywhere giving a scenic look to the atmosphere to behold and to cherish these moments. Nature is amazing. There is always something for we Humans to make our day. Take some time off from your day today to look around. You will find beauty everywhere. It doesn't matter in which part of the world you live. Don't have to plan for long trips. It is all at your doorsteps. Keep your eyes open and take a break to smell the nature around. You will get the flavor and also inner peace deep down. It will be a rare happiness all on its own. You don't have to make any payments, any investments for that. Just a time alone slot and all the transactions will be done. It works like meditation.
