Take breaks to smell Flowers

Weather is great, and the day is bright. It's the end of November, still not as cold as we were expecting here in Toronto. It is 6 C, perfect to get out, to get some breeze.

Air must be fresh, crisp and scented with the aroma around. Some plants are transformed into skeletons. I can see many of them in between the greens. Wild flowers are giving color to the atmosphere. It is scenic to behold.

My back garden is portraying a totally different scenario. The Canadian rose plant is turned into a skeleton. It was full of pink Roses all around, just a couple of weeks ago.

Same story with the Wine rose plant. So many other plants are also not in a good shape. They all will be back to life with full bloom in March April. That happens every time. Same story every year.

Grass is still green, covered under Gold leaves, which keep on showering from the tall Maple Leaf tree. I can see green grass in between.

Red wooden bench, in my front garden, is looking great with Yellow, orange and coffee colored leaves scattered on, leaving red spots in between. It looks like some antique piece of art and sculpture. Nature Is amazing.

I plan my walks, most of the time to go to Tim Hortons. It is not too much of a long walk for me to handle and also I can take a break over there before coming back.

We have to think before making any plans, taking any action. Breaks are important for everyone at any age. It matters more at our age. In our older age, our muscles, our nerves, our strength, are all going down. Our body is weak to handle things. We have to be careful with everything.

Don't have to turn ourselves into couch potatoes. We have to get busy with things we can handle to make our day. Take safety into consideration before taking anything into hand.

Taking breaks is important. Break between walks, between talks. Break to listen to calm yourself down. To smell flowers, the aroma, the scented breeze.

Taking breaks, you won't miss things around to enjoy your moments in hand. Don't just look, to watch. Try to observe to absorb to have a feel. Life will be all good. Trust me. Try that out.
