We got snow on New Year Eve

New year is still very young, just one day older. We missed White Christmas. Snow, we got on New Year Eve. New year's day was great. Everything covered under white sheet, looking like a virgin land. Trees looked beautiful with sort of Christmas like decorations. 

Every season is unique with it's own beauty. Summer is to get out, to hit roads. To go on trails and to waters. Winter is to taste snow. To enjoy winter sports. It is time to enjoy indoors. To reflect on your inside. Time to listen your own self. To seek inner peace and to meditate. 

It is the second day. New year is still very young. People are busy, calling their loved ones, to greet, to wish New Year blessings. I am also getting calls from my family and from couple of my friends. At our age, not many friends left. Most of them gone. 

My grade five childhood friend messages me every day from Perth, Australia. She used to live in Dubai for around half a century, moved to Australia, to be with her daughter. 

In our older age, we have to make decisions taking health and safety as our priority. Not easy to manage household matters after we are retired. Our health not the same as we get older. 

We pass through various stages in our life time. From childhood our body goes on changing. Youth is our peak time. Climax. We dream big. Our health and our nerves, all set. We are ready to accept all challenges, head on. We are full of emotions, full of ambitions. 

Travelling further from youth to complete the cycle of our life. We start losing strength. We have to be realistic to make decisions. We like it or not. We need support. Have to face the reality. 

Life is like a combo with sweet and bitter moments. It is not a bed of roses. We have to walk on unpaved path. Have to travel through trails with bushes around. Try to walk, picking flowers of happiness to make your days. 

Try to spread happiness. That's the recipe to get flowers of happiness. That's is the key to live life happily.
