My wedding Anniversary

One more month to go, to start a brand new year 2024. Today is Nov 4th, my mind took me to years back, to the day of my life. Today is my wedding anniversary. My husband is no more here, he passed away years ago so nothing to celebrate. It is just any another day of my life. Things change, life goes on. I believe, change is the beauty of life. 

It is cloudy cold morning. I am having my breakfast, sitting in my eat in kitchen. I am enjoying the view of my back garden, through patio doors. It is looking great. Gold leaves are scattered all around. Such a beauty to behold. It is a quiet atmosphere, not windy. Trees are standing still.  

I can't see many flowers in the flower bed, at the back of my garden. Just couple of, are there with no smiley face. I think, everyone is worried about, "what will be the next". Thinking about snow and sub zero temperatures. Real Canadian winter is just few weeks away.

It is 9.15, I am done with my breakfast, sitting in my room. It is weekend, I am off today. Don't have to go to work. I have to plan my day, to fill my day slots. I will check my table calendar for my," things to do list". I have to color my hair. My laundry is done. I don't have to worry about that. 

It is 11.45, I am getting ready to go for my walk. I will go to "Metro" to get some bakery stuff and to "Dollarama" for chocolates, for my grand kids. It is 5 C, I will dress up in layers with my gloves and woolen stole. I am good, all set. 

It is 12.15, I am walking by the Whites Road. Gold, Copper and Bronze leaves are, all scattered on the walkway. Trees and bushes around, are looking great, with beautiful fall colors. All shades of red and orange, making atmosphere very scenic. Every season has it's own identity, it's own beauty so is the "Fall season". I am enjoying every bit of it. Life is good.

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer. Computer is sort of Blessing for me. I don't know how my Mom used to pass her time without phone and computer. How come she

  June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
