Break Time, Enjoying Coffee and Snacks

Beautiful mixed sunny cloudy morning. Not so cold 2 C, feel like zero. It was raining earlier, my deck is all wet, clean and shining. I am working today, playing Darts at 10. I  coordinate with my son., I mean what will be good time for him to drive me to library. It was 9.30, scheduled earlier, now have to leave at 9.15. It is already five after nine, I have to be quick. My son has to drive my youngest grandson to Uni. It will be better to take me at the same time and drop me after. For now three generations, are sitting together in Black Lexus. Amazing.

Library opens at 9.30. I think, it is a good plan. Suits everyone. My son is working, I have to keep that in mind. We have to appreciate, whatever our kids can do for we parents. Not easy for them with work and with family of their own. We have to coordinate and cooperate to make things workable. Not a big deal. I will browse magazines of my choice before playing my Darts. 

Attitude is key to look at things around. Nothing ever, is such a big deal, to ruin your day. Have patience. Take things easy. Nothing is end of the world. Just relax and try to enjoy your time in hand. It is 9/30, I am sitting in library, browsing, " Better Home ", and "Canadian Living ", magazines of my choice. It is 9.55, I am in the next room, to pick numbers, to find my team and my Dart board. Game starts at 10.

It is 10.45, we are enjoying our break time, having Tea / Coffee and snacks. All sorts of cookies, crackers and small packs of variety of chips are on kitchen counter, to enjoy . I feel lucky, to be able to enjoy my time. Thank You God for keeping me mobile, to do my things.

It is 11.30, Darts will be till 12, I am leaving early. My son has to go to Costco for winter tires. I will go with him at 11.30, to Costco. We have to co-ordinate with others. Not good to add up their problems.

It is 12.15, I am at Costco. My son is busy with his things, I am walking around to enjoy my time. Flower section is my favorite spot. Looking at beautiful bouquets with so many colors, is more than enough to make your day.

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer.   June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want. Today is Tuesday, weather is great 18 C, a bit on a cooler side. I am off, not working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Last week I booked my flight to England. My daughters were pushing me for that.
