Cake, Card and Flowers

Image
It is another hot, humid day with 26 C, feels like 36, will be 40 C afterwards. Doesn't look like Canada. At some places, in Vancouver and in British Columbia, it is 50 C and on top, there is no Air Conditioning. They never needed that. It used to be cold, most of the times, with very short summer. I remember, we got our first fan in Toronto, in 1993. Toronto was the same. Very short summer, not many hot days. Now we have full air conditioning in our houses.  Things are totally different due to change in climate. It is morning, I have to switch on my fan, on top of AC.  Cases are going down in our province, Ontario. We hope things will open up soon. We are now use to this lockdown situation, not so keen to go for indoor dining. Everything looks fine. Only Barbers, we missing out. Kids, for sure need their haircuts. That's it. We Humans are amazing creatures,  can make adjustments, so easily. My daughter, the middle one, called from Grimsby. Her daughter is engaged,...

Got Two Muffins from "Metro"

Image
Beautiful mixed sunny cloudy morning today, with 20 C. Weather Channel displaying chances of rain, later in the afternoon. My son is planning to do BBQ, so it all depends on how things go. We have our plan B ready. I mean in case of rain, will make something else for dinner. For Kids will be Pasta with ground beef. For us, stir fried vegetables and Ground beef with bread / rice. For our peace of mind we always have to keep plan B ready.  It is beautiful scenic view, for now. I am walking on deck, enjoying my morning tea. Pink and Peach color Roses, smiling in my flower bed, looking great on the Brick Red mulch. The Red Rose at the corner is taking time to flourish. Everyone is different, so are plants. They have their own individuality, their own style to make adjustments. We have to be patient, have to show tolerance. Have to give everyone, time and space, to do things on their own. My daughter, the middle one, who lives in Grimsby, is leaving to London for the weekend...

Enjoying Morning tea at my Deck

Image
Beautiful morning, clear Blue skies, weather also great, not too hot not too cold. It is 19 C at the end of June. Yesterday was rain so now, is a dip in 30 plus temperatures.  Canadian Pink Roses and Peach color David Austin Roses looking beautiful,  on the Brick Red Mulch,  in my flower bed. Look happy with their smiling faces.  Couple of small black birds enjoying morning walks, in my back garden. There is one small grey bird too, enjoying her time alone slot.  I am done with my breakfast, having my morning cup of tea, on my deck, enjoying the view, the feel of Breeze, the aroma, the fragrance, the scented atmosphere around.  There is so much around. We just have to open up our eyes, to look through. Have to take a break, to pause for a moment, not to watch but to behold, to absorb the beauty around, to cherish our moment. That moment will be enough to make your day. Life is how we take it. It all depends on us. We don't just have to pass our time....

David Austin Looking Great with Buds around

Image
Beautiful mixed sunny cloudy morning. It was rain last night. My back garden looking great, after having shower. I can see on the deck, looks, it is  still drizzling. Newly planted plants in my flower bed, started flourishing. Especially the pink Canadian Rose is loaded with beautiful Pink flowers.  David Austin, the one my youngest daughter suggested, also looking great, with Peach color buds, ready to burst out, any time soon. Red color, English Rose, looks slow, but is in stable condition. I think, taking time, to settle down. We planted some vegetables and Herbs, on the left side. Mint is flourishing. Tomato, I think is done. Finished. Salad is slow.  I think, the Brown Rabbit is snacking from our Veggie plants. We found him red handed. He ran away, as soon as we opened our patio door. He is enjoying his time in my garden. I am enjoying his company. There is nothing total plus. There is always give and take. We have to give away something to get anything, we de...

Every Day is Not Sunday

Image
Beautiful day, bright shinny morning. Another day, another twenty four hours, to spend the way, we want to. We have to start our day with something positive, especially when we are writing anything on paper. We always, have to start with positive wordings. Have to pick and choose words, very carefully. It can make or break our entire day plans. Positive words motivate positive thoughts, push us towards the right track, away from negativity. It is very important to pick our words, while we speak, talking to anyone, or writing anything on paper. While on computer, our fingers have to be on letters to make positive words.  Words are key, to control our brain and our mindset, which in turn, controls our behavior, our attitude, towards people and ultimately towards life. Words impart it's reflection on our soul, on our inner self. This plays key role in building our personality.  Be very careful to pick the right words. Words empower our communication. We can build and also ...

I am at Metro to get Bananas

Image
Beautiful morning clear skies. Sun shining in full bloom. I am done with my breakfast, walking on my deck to have a feel of the breeze. Couple of birds having chit chat, saying Hi to me too, from the tree tops. Black Squirrel is busy with his exercises on the wooden fence. Calm and quiet atmosphere to proceed with usual daily activities for everyone. Not only for we Humans but for all Creatures of God. My time is done in my back garden. Time now, to go to my room, to be with my computer, to go through my Facebook messages. Time to connect with family and friends. Time to talk to my daughters. They call me while going home from their work. They will be busy after, with matters of their own family. No time to talk. We parents have to realize all that. Have to take whatever is available for us. We have to appreciate and admire our kids for the time, they squeeze for us. We have to recall our own time, how much, we were able to give to our  parents. I think it was never enough. ...

Enjoying My Gift Certificate

Image
It is 9.15, Beautiful, calm quiet morning to start with. We are gifted with another "Gift Certificate" of twenty four hours, to spend. We have to get ready to chalk out plans to make use of that, before it expires today. Last night was rain. It is still cloudy with overcast skies, giving a different look of scenic atmosphere. Total change of scenery. I am outside, in my back garden, walking on my deck, to have a feel of the drizzle, just started. My  breakfast can wait, I will have that after. These scenic views change quickly. We have to be there, on time, to feel the real flavor, to smell the fragrance, to have a feel of the on spot Beauty.  Garden looking great with lush green grass. Trees around adding up the glamor. The newly planted Flower Bed is like cherry on top. Variety of flowers are looking great on the brick red color of Mulch, spread all around. What a scenic atmosphere to behold, to cherish, to make my day. Thank You God for everything. No complaints. I d...

Open Letter To My Dear Readers

Image
Dear Readers, I got comments from you people after waiting so long. Your comments are like letters for me from you, my Friends. Dear Friends in Ireland, I am happy to know that you people are following the Directives. Keep social distancing and please use Masks whenever required. Thanks.  For Priest, I just have to say that by  using negative tactics,  we can not get our goals achieved. It never works. If things are not going in the right direction, we have to focus on, how to improve our attitude, our own character. He has to think all that. Dear Reader, doing 2 Jobs. I am happy to know that you got your job back. I was worried for you. Keep following Social distancing and use Mask whenever required. It is important. Dear Retiree Friends, please don't suspend anyone's membership. My Blogs are for everyone. We have to move on. Who Needs Car, Not me

Image
It is 8.45, beautiful morning. Bright sunny, not too hot, not too cold. Perfect for my walk. For now, I am busy with my five minutes light stretching exercises. That will be enough to wake up my body, to cooperate with my routine matters, to enjoy my day. I wont say, "to pass my day". It looks to me a bit lethargic and reflects, sort of negativity.  We have to pick words very carefully. It can take us anywhere. Keep in mind that we have to boost our attitude, to go to the right direction. This is important to keep us away from thinking negative. Everything matters, to build up, positive attitude in our personality. Life is the same for everyone, with ups and downs, sort of a mixed plate. It is like a "Combo", with main course and side dishes. We have to come across with all the events, to deal in our life. Life is not a bed of Roses. It is like an unpaved trail with bushes around. We have to find our way, to pick flowers of happiness. Flowers of happiness, what I ...

My Two Flower Baskets

Image
It is 8.30 in the morning. Weather is great after couple of cloudy cold days. I am walking around on my deck. My garden looking beautiful with lush green grass. The newly planted flower Bed is looking beautiful. Red rose on the left, Yellow and Pink, in the center and in between, variety of flowers are there to fill the space. Everything looking great on the Brick Red color of freshly spread    Mulch.  Our new silver color BBQ is shining on the Deck. Such a beautiful atmosphere to behold, to start my day. Last night my sleep was better, after couple of disturbed nights. Things start happening at our age. We have to take it, whatever is there and try to make adjustments with the things around. Have to keep in mind that everyone must be sleeping, so not to disturb anyone in our household. Start reading anything of your interest. Watch your favorite show or anything you like to watch on your computer / tablet. I switch my computer on, to pass my time. It works for me....
