The weather is great, breezy. Beautiful morning with 23 C. It is Thursday.

I am not at work, at Coffee House now enjoying my time. My walk from my place to here was great.

We have a couple of weeks to enjoy our outdoors. There will be a different scenario from September. We Canadians know that our coming days will be tough, a bit harder to get out.

We try to manage a couple of our weeks with even 25 C below zero. We learned to handle our Canadian winter. We have a line up of coats in our coat closet to coordinate with the weather outside..

We check the weather channel before starting our day to pick what to wear to bundle up. We manage with gloves and scarfs and the coat we pick accordingly with the cold outside.

We humans are amazing creatures. We have the power to adopt whatever is there to make our days. We try to adjust with the people and the ups and downs of the weather all around.

Anyway I enjoyed my walk and now enjoying my coffee sitting at my favorite spot in the Coffee House. I am sitting by the small table with two chairs. I am sitting on one, the other chair in front is there. No one sitting on that.

Sometimes we like to be alone with our own company. No visitors, no distraction. This has to be my own time to listen to my own inner thoughts. This works like a meditation.

  It's a cold cloudy morning. The sun is not awake yet. Drowsing under his grey blanket. He must be awake till late at night.  It was raining all night. It just stopped and will start again after a couple of hours at 10. That the weather channel is predicting. It is 7.30, I got up early today. The first thing I do is to check the weather of the day. Time is running out. I have to get ready for my walk. I will miss that otherwise. It will start at 10 and will be raining all day. I have to dress up in layers. It is 8 C. I have to pick my maroon umbrella just in case. That umbrella I got years ago from Dollarama store for three dollars. We have to be prepared while getting out of the house. Not good to get stuck on the way to spoil the trip. I have gloves, my woolen cap and my red woolen stole. This red stole one of my senior club friends gifted to me. Gifts are like souvenirs. Time to take a break

  It is a cold bright morning of the 6th of January. Chances of freezing rain ice pallets later on.  My walk outside is on hold for a while. Safety is a priority for everyone. We have to be extra careful at the later stages of our life. It looks like a different scenario with snow all around. The trees are decorated with white powder and loaded with cottony flowers. It is so peaceful, calm and quiet. Winter is the time to take a break. To stay indoors. To focus on your inner self. Time to talk to yourself. To listen to your inner thoughts. Time to take a break from your busy schedules. Every season has its own beauty. Its own identity. We can plan accordingly, to get busy and enjoy our time. We humans are amazing. We can make adjustments with any of our surroundings. Winter is the time to skate to play ice hockey. To plan skiing and ice fishing. It's time to hit the water. Take a break slow down

  Beautiful morning. Great scenic atmosphere. Pink Canadian roses are smiling. The grass is lush green.  A couple of birds are having a party in my backyard. Two squirrels are playing hide and seek under the Maple tree. The small brown rabbit is sitting quietly on the left side. I think he is enjoying his own company and is here to behold the scenery too. It is early morning 8.30, I am sitting on one of the red knitted steel garden chairs. I am having my breakfast on the deck, like to be a part of all these beautiful moments to cherish. The sky is like a clean slate. An untouched canvas with a couple of grayish abstract sketches. The entire atmosphere is so peaceful, we can sit quietly here to meditate. The atmosphere is loaded with the fragrance of flowers. My flower bed at the back is looking beautiful with golden yellow, blood red, white and purple seasonal flowers. The red garden chair my son got from the Canadian Tire store years ago is at the corner to lie down to relax....
