So much has changed in just a couple of hours. The temperature dropped to single digits. It is 6 C at 10 in the morning. The day before it was 24 C. I had to figure out what to wear to go for my walk.

Today we have to follow a different dress code. Long winter coat not the heavy one with sweater underneath. I have to take gloves and my woolen stole too. 

We have a variety of jackets and coats in our coat closet. We pick and choose according to the weather advisory.

We learned to cope with 40 C plus and also with 35 C below zero. We can handle all that. Just bring it on. Our summer days are done for now. We enjoyed it enough. No complaints.

We have to accept and manage with whatever is available. Time flies. Nothing stays forever. Winter has its own beauty. It's time to slow down. To take breaks.

Today it is 6 C. Not too bad. We take it like a summer. It's not below zero. We know things are going to be tougher in a couple of weeks. We have to be bundled up soon.

Things will be a bit tougher in the days to come. Don't have to wait, just do it. I am ready for my walk. The sun is in full bloom. 

Days are cold, still bright. The sun is up most of the day here. That is the beauty of Canada.

    It's Tuesday, I have my day off. I don't work on Tuesdays. Monday was a close holiday because of Victoria day.  She helped Canada to make the Charter of Democracy. We remember that and celebrate. Everything was closed and only eateries were open. I enjoyed my time in Tim Hortons. It was a very long weekend for me. I will go to work tomorrow to play Darts. I believe work is like a blessing.     The weather is great. Blood red David Austin roses are smiling in the flower bed at the back of my garden.  The flower bed is looking great with pink, purple, white and deep orange flowers. August is nearly done. Today is the 28th. Time flies fast. The new year of 2025 is not new anymore. I came back from England a couple of days ago. It looks like I have never been away from my home. Things are back on track. I started working part time, going to play Darts three days a week. We humans are unique. We are easily able to adjust to the surroundings. Manage to adopt whatever is available to make our time. Yesterday was a busy day for me. I was planning to sort my clothes after coming back from my work. I made it. I organized my closet.  All the clothes were on my bed to sort out. I packed some in my suitcase. I won't be needing those for a while in winter time. It's Thursday, I am off, no Darts today. The sun not yet awake

  It's a cold cloudy morning. The sun is not awake yet. Drowsing under his grey blanket. He must be awake till late at night.  It was raining all night. It just stopped and will start again after a couple of hours at 10. That the weather channel is predicting. It is 7.30, I got up early today. The first thing I do is to check the weather of the day. Time is running out. I have to get ready for my walk. I will miss that otherwise. It will start at 10 and will be raining all day. I have to dress up in layers. It is 8 C. I have to pick my maroon umbrella just in case. That umbrella I got years ago from Dollarama store for three dollars. We have to be prepared while getting out of the house. Not good to get stuck on the way to spoil the trip. I have gloves, my woolen cap and my red woolen stole. This red stole one of my senior club friends gifted to me. Gifts are like souvenirs.
