I am Enjoying Making My Day

 It is 9.15, Cloudy morning, raining since last night, will be all day. I am done with my breakfast, with my oatmeal porridge and stir fried egg. Now enjoying my morning cup of tea, sitting in my room. My computer is switched on, ready to take me to the places, I love to go and to connect with the people of my choice. What a friend He is. 

My window blinds are drawn up. I am enjoying the beautiful scenic view of outside. Grass is lush green. Magnolia tree is full of green, full of life. Red wooden bench is looking great on the left of my garden. Red flowers basket, on top of the wooden bench, is giving color, making atmosphere brighter. My son got it, couple of days back, from the Costco Garden Centre.

It looks misty with hazy, overcast sky. Not a good day to go for walk. We have to be careful with our health and safety, specially at our age. Not a good idea to be a burden to our kids. They are already busy with work and with their own family matters. Let them enjoy their own life.

My son is off his Jury Duty. Two of the members are not well, will be off for couple of days. All twelve members have to be there, for hearing, to make decisions. 

Everyone left for work and school. No cars on my driveway. Lake trip is off too for today. I have to chalk out plans for my day, to fill up slots. We have to get busy with whatever is available, to make our day. Don't have to leave any space open, for Negative thoughts to enter, to spoil our mood and our day. 

Life is not a bed, full of Roses. It is the same for everyone. All depends, how we take it. No Genie will be coming to make our day. We have to find the right track, on our own, to move on. The track of positivity. No matter what, keep yourself out of thinking negatives. So simple to lead a happy life. 

I see a small pool of water, near the drain, beside my house. Couple of Birds are enjoying their bath, over there. I think, they are teaching we Humans, how to make our day.

  January 12th 2024 It is around mid of January. Time for us to, start getting snow storms. This will be off an on, for the next couple of weeks. It is 10.15, mixed sunny cloudy morning, windy too. Gusts are 38 to 48 km.  Friday used to be my work day, not today. Kids day camp is going on in the library, at my work place. I am off for the whole week. I have to find my own things to do, to get busy. From Monday, things will be back on track. I will be having my regular work hours. It is 11.45, I am getting ready to walk to Tim Hortons. I take it as my second home. I know that it is cold and windy. I am all set with gloves, stole and three layers underneath my winter coat. I will be fine. Whites Road and walkway is, all clear of snow. I see some white patches of snow, by the side of road, under trees and bushes. This is the beauty of Toronto, snow cleared right away.   July 7th 2023 It is hot sunny morning, 9.15 and already 24 C, feel like 26. I woke up early, done with my breakfast. Talked to one of my daughters, my middle one, called me from Grimsby.  She was going home, done with her work. It was a brief talk. She was busy, picking up her son, on the way from school. My other daughters are still at work. They will call me later on. We talk everyday, not much, just to connect.  I am busy with my computer. No message from my childhood friend. She never skips, must be busy. She was at her son's place in Sydney, was planning to go back to Perth, to be with her daughter. She must be stuck, other matters to be resolved. Anyway we have to find our own, "Things to do", to get busy, to make our day. Don't have to wait for people's calls and messages. I am busy playing Scrabble and Card games on my computer.   June 13th 2023 Beautiful morning. Great weather. It was raining all day, yesterday. Stopped at late night. I was working, Mondays are my work days. Have to go to play Darts. It starts at 9.30 in mornings. We were thirteen all together. Picked our numbers to make teams. Two boards with four teams. Three players in each. One team was odd, I mean with four. Anyway we enjoyed. Thirteen seniors on a rainy day, out to play, to enjoy time together. Amazing at that age. Gives inner peace. Boosts will power with affirmation that we still can do it. Rain or no rain, nothing can stop, to make our day. I think, will is everything behind your motto. When there is a will, there is always a way to go ahead, to move on, to do what you want.
