Enjoying morning tea
It's Sunday today. I am sitting beside my kitchen area. It is early in the morning, a bit quiet at my place.
My son is an early riser,
not home. He goes for morning walks, loves biking too. Takes his bike
to the lake and walks around.
My grandsons are sleeping. They must be enjoying late night. Busy playing video games with friends.
It's a different world now friends don't have to be in person to enjoy together. Not like that in our time.
I
am busy enjoying my breakfast. I start my day drinking a cup of honey
water. One teaspoon of honey in hot water. I take oatmeal porridge in a
bowl of warm milk after that. No tea or coffee with my breakfast.
I enjoy my tea while playing Darts with my senior club friends in the library. I go there three days a week.
On the days I am off and not going to play Darts. I walk to Tim Hortons to enjoy my morning tea / coffee over there.
We
have to plan to do things to make our day to chalk out our own day
schedules. I believe that it is the golden time of the cycle of our
life. We can plan whatever we want. No restrictions from anywhere.
We
are free from work and also out of our family matters. We are already
done with our responsibilities. Now we have time for our own selves.
Let's enjoy that time.
My breakfast is done. I am getting ready
for my walk. The weather is a bit on the cooler side. I have to pick my
light jacket, the navy blue one with light blue combination.
I got it for five pounds from Oxfam at Grimsby years ago while I was visiting my daughters in England.
This
is my favorite one, not too warm, perfect for this type of weather. I
think sometimes it doesn't matter that you go for pricey things from
high class stores. Anything clicks your mind you go for that.
It's
10.45, I am at the Coffee House. It's a festive atmosphere here. The
drive through is quite busy. I think maybe it's because of the weekend.
So many people around my age are sitting in groups enjoying their time having chit chat and coffee / tea.
I
am sitting at my favorite spot, a single table with two chairs. No one
sitting on the chair beside me still feels good that way to keep one
chair beside me. Doesn't matter that no one is sitting there or not.
I
am now going to order my tea, not coffee today. We have to change our
menu. It feels good. Try to do whatever adds up the color of your day.
