At Costa Coffee House

Beautiful morning, hot humid day. The sun is shining in full bloom. Weather in England is unpredictable just like its traffic.

Two days ago I was wearing a light jacket while I was walking around the High Street. Today is a totally different scenario.

It's 9.15, I am done with my breakfast now sitting in the garden. Flower pots are lined up in front with beautiful roses.

I see a variety of shades and colors of roses pink, red and yellow. Tall trees are making the atmosphere very cozy.

Two pigeons are walking by the pink roses flower pot. White cat with pitch black spots on her body is sitting on the fence.

I think she is done with her breakfast and came to give me company. So nice of her. Looks so calm and composed. I think she is enjoying her time.

The air is loaded with fragrances from around. I hear a couple of birds having chit chat, sitting somewhere inside the tall tree. Two kids are playing with a ball in the garden next door. Such an atmosphere full of life. I feel lucky to be a part of all that.

My daughter left early in the morning around 7.30, for school. She will be back at 4 pm. I will go to the library nearby to browse some books and magazines.

There's a Cafe upstairs on the first floor. I will go there to have a cup of tea. It's a community Cafe. I found this Cafe tea is just one pound and 10 cents. At Costa it is around four pounds.

It's 1.15,I am in the library busy with writing my Blog. I will go to the Cafe around 2 pm. My daughter will pick me up at 3.50, on the way back from school. I divide my time slots accordingly to fill up my day schedule and also to enjoy.

It is 1. 45, time to go to the Cafe. Oh, my granddaughter is here with her beautiful smile in the library to surprise me. She insisted that I join her to have a cup of coffee in the Costa coffee house. I accepted her offer right away.

We always have to value, acknowledge and admire for any time our kids / grand kids make available to be with us.

I am at Costa enjoying my coffee. She is busy with her computer beside me. These are special moments to cherish  and to lock up in my memory box.

We don't have to wait for another time. I found this beautiful piece of writing in one of the children's books, “ OH how the moments fly watching the world go by “ . So true. I agree with that.

Moments keep on slipping from our hands for not coming back. Try to value the moments in hand.
