Great morning 21 C, a bit gusty with wind 54 km. Weather is like a roller coaster. Yesterday was cold. I needed so many things to bundle up for my walk. Today I am wearing a light jacket, not even my long light coat. 

Summertime is not long here for us Canadians. We know that, so we enjoy it with full fervor. We start right away getting ready to get out to hit roads, trails and waters.

It is a totally different scenario. Birds chirping around. Skeleton trees are back to life. Look happy with green tinge running through their bodies. 

Squirrels are busy collecting food. I think they are having parties. Guests must be coming for a get together. Everyone looks in a festive mood, enjoying their time in their own style.

Every season is unique with its own beauty. I remember the winter time. People were busy playing ice hockey and fishing in the middle of the frozen lake. They used to enjoy their walks in trails with long heavy coats, snow boots and gloves.

We Humans are amazing creatures. We know how to adjust and to adapt our surroundings. We find different things to pass our time to make our days. We are fine with 25 C below zero or even 25 C plus temperatures. Doesn’t matter to us.

I think not only with the seasons. We have to make adjustments throughout the stages of our life. Every period of our life demands things not the same as the previous one. We have to keep on adjusting.

Childhood is different from our teen time. We Become adults and after traveling through all the stages. We enter into the last slot of the cycle of our life. That becomes a bit tricky. We are done with all our responsibilities. Feel like there is nothing for us to do. We start feeling low.

It's natural as we have so much time and no assignments. I think this is the time when we need most of the adjustments. We have to chalk out our own time table. Fill out our schedules. Find things of interest not only to get busy but also to enjoy.

I take our old age as a golden era of our life. We are the masters of our domain. We can make it or ruin it. All up to us. We have time to do whatever we want. Not answerable to anyone except Almighty.

    It's Tuesday, I have my day off. I don't work on Tuesdays. Monday was a close holiday because of Victoria day.  She helped Canada to make the Charter of Democracy. We remember that and celebrate.     Beautiful morning sunny and bright. No more rain. We had already more than enough of it. Grass and flowers, don't need any watering. It is 26 C, hot day.   This is weekend, I have to do my hair color. My friend invited me for afternoon tea. I will go there. It is always good to be with friends and family. We have to accept invitations, to make our day. I think, calls are sort of blessings. Signals from God for us to gather happiness. Life is nearly the same for everyone. It is all up to us, how we take it.  Try to give color to the moments in hand. Sitting idle, doing nothing, won't bring happiness. Try to be active, do something, anything you like to do. Go for walk, to look the scenery around.  Some people like outdoors, some not. They like to be indoors.      October 29th 2024 It's a different scenario today. Cloudy morning hazy sky. Sun is hiding under his gray blanket. It is Tuesday so I don't have to go to work. No Darts today at the library. It is a day off for me. I have to make other plans to make my day. Day offs are like clean slates. We have to write our schedule to fill out the columns of the day. When we have to go to work or school, our timings are all set.  We don't have to worry about how to pass our time. We have just a couple of hours left to sort out after coming back from our workplace or school. Weekends and day offs are tricky. We need some homework to fill out our day slots. Try to make it like a combo, a mixed plate to have a taste of everything. Day offs are like blank sheets. We can write, paint, whatever we want to do, to fill out.
