Still Waiting for Butterflies
It is Sunday bright beautiful sunny morning with 14 C. One more Sunday
left before my departure to England. Count down started, days passing
so quickly, same is our life.
Every moment goes away, never comes back, slipping away from our hands,
before we are even aware of all that. But we have to keep in mind, every
moment counts and matters in our lives.
We have to make use of that. Focus on the present moment in hand.
Past is done, will never come back. We can not turn the page. Future
is unknown. We don't know. Present moment is everything, we have.
Value the moments in hand and just relax, things will be fine. My
weekend mornings are the same. After my breakfast, I spend time
in TV lounge to be with my son, to have some TV time and to enjoy
the view of my back garden.
Black Squirrel is always there, on the wooden fence, for his workouts.
He takes it as his Gym. I think, his schedule is also the same for
weekends. Pear tree looking great on the left corner, with all of it's
beautiful white flowers around. I am still waiting for Butterflies.
Yesterday I was at Petticoat Creek, water level in the lake was much
higher than two days before. Very few people were there. Some were
biking, some busy with fishing.
Lots of birds were in their apartments, under the pedestrian bridge.
"Via Train", that goes to America, and the other one, the "Go train",
which connects all the Municipalities around Toronto, were passing
over the bridge.
It was very quiet but very scenic atmosphere. Seagulls giving a beautiful
look, all together on one side of the lake, may be having some party.
While I was passing through, one Brown Rabbit was patiently waiting,
to let me go first. So nice of him.
We Humans have to learn so much from other Creatures of God.
Anyway, my TV time is done. It is 11.30, now time for my walk.
It is cool and windy so I am all dressed up in layers.
I have my maroon sweater underneath of my black woolen jacket. I am
all set. I love this sweater of mine. My sister in law got me from Marks
Spencer, one of my favorite stores in England.
Last night I went to Mississauga, about an hour away from my place.
It was a gathering for one of my distant cousin. He passed away couple
of months back. His family organised that for him.
We have to share their moments of grief, to let them know that we are
there for them. They are not alone in their difficult moments. It gives lot
of support to the family. I went at 7 pm and was back around 12 midnight.
I didn't have a sleepless night, still my body is not cooperating with me.
I have to push myself to go for my walk. It is 12.15, I am at Tim Horton.
Enjoying my time alone slot, having my coffee and writing my Blog.
It is a festive atmosphere, Drive through is also very busy. It is 1.20,
I am done, now time to walk home, to enjoy the flower baskets across
and also to find out if the rose plant, started budding or still I have to wait.
So much to do, so much to enjoy, so much to behold and explore.
Thank you God. You are great.
Dear Retirees I am not happy with the Priest. He always find excuses to
make other people's lives, miserable. He has his own ways to justify all that.
I am not mixed up with dates or anything, at all.
Temple people celebrate their festivals and other occasions like Good
Fridays, according to Lunar Calendar. They have not only one Good
Friday, it is more than that. Priest has to stop worrying and spying about
other Religions.
We have to respect everyone's Beliefs and Religion. I am not happy, he
also has to stop talking about my Religion. Please keep the Blog Reading
Sessions out of this. Religion is everyone's personal matter, we have to
understand and keep that in mind.
Dear Students, patience is virtue. Cool down and don't spoil your vacations.
You will understand all that when you will be parents, in the years to come.
Just relax and try to focus on your work and studies. Try to respect your
parents and teachers please. Thank you.
Kris Dear I am not happy that you are picking Niklas from school, early.
Please don't do that. Let him focus on his studies. His career is very important. Please don't yell at him and let him do his own things.

ReplyDeleteI have posted the blog in Smile Corner. This being Saturday, lots of customers are in my shop today to read blog. It is a custom here that T=they come here to read blog from today and after that go about the weekly shopping. There is no room inside, and people are waiting outside. I am running low on supplies as I thought that the new councillor will stop the blog readings. The priest was here and was taking notes. Its back to normal here

ReplyDeleteThe retirees appreciate your blog today. The retired philosopher and the retired psychologist led the reading of the blog. She said that a central theme in your blog is living in hte moment. There was a sports psychologist who was in the cafe sitting nearby and he overheard your blog. He was simply astounded. He said that this thinking and positive reinforcement can be of value to professional athletes also. The retired professional golfer who attends these readings regularly, smiled and said that this blog has lots of valuable items. The sports psychologist wanted to attend these readings but we told him that this wont be possible as this is a closed gathering for retirees only.
The retired priest brought some new footage from the spy camera today. We told him that this wont be allowed as you dont agree with it but he said that Christians like you are not completely aware of what is going on. He said that they have a mass funeral at the temple in which hundreds of people attended. It is all connected with the beating of the boys, their disapperance, then the crying and wailing of the family members as the coffins were being carried inside the temple and now this mass gathering in the morning. The hijab lady was here and said that they were celebrating a festival but the retired priest laughed and said that there was no celebrations, no music, no dancing, only prayers. The hijab lady requested that they hold off until you have a chance to provide your opinion as you are quite knowledgeable about the affairs of other religions. The retired priest said that though he respect you as a Christian, he is concerned about the well being of the temple kids. The hijab lady said the temple is already closed now as their main event is done so there is nothing to worry about. The retired priest reluctantly agreed.

ReplyDeleteWe read your blog at the SRC today. It was a small group today. The Dean noticed that too and was heard saying that to Prof George. The Dean said that in a low voice to Prof George only after the reading is complete. He does not speak at all during the reading and stands motionless with eyes closed, head bowed and arms folded with respected. Prof George said that yes there are only 200 people today as a no. of students and faculty members are on a summer break
There are some students who are having a hard time with their parents expressed your appreciation for writing for them. They said that as you told them, they will be patient
