It's a Beautiful Day
Today is January the 4th. New Year is no more new anymore, getting older day by day like us. Celebrations already done.
You people must have jotted down a long list of things to do regarding your health.
Strict schedules must be ready, especially for your diets and workouts. You must have chalked out spread sheets to follow day by day, week by week for this year. Just like we use to do every year.
We try to be hard on
ourselves in the month of December. Especially the last two weeks are
tough for us. We become like a drill master. Like a tough coach for our
own selves. We try to straighten up everything regarding our health, our
body. our outlook. I mean regarding our figure.
We
want to look as perfect as we can for others. I believe that we have to
think twice before making the list of our objectives to be achieved. To
avoid with going through all that. The objectives, which most of times
look good on paper, not able to achieve. Give a thought before going
into action to make yourself miserable.
Every
person is unique. Take your personality, your aptitude. your capability,
your health and your attitude. Take everything into consideration
before you start taking that test sheet of " things to do " to go
ahead.
Please don't be hard on yourself. We
are not going to be in any fashion show or a beauty context. Not going
to take part in any marathon. Give yourself some break. Be realistic.
We
will be with the same group of people. Same family members. Same
friends. Usually at the same school and workplace. Why to alter our
entire personality for nothing. Just for the sake of others. No one will
even care for all that. Don't put yourself under any test.
To
jot down objectives is always a good habit. Nothing wrong with that.
It's a positive approach. Positive side of your personality. Don't be
too demanding with yourself. It will backfire. We can not do all that
and at the end, start feeling sorry for ourselves. We feel low, down.
That imparts negative affect on our self esteem, on our personality.
We
have to do things that we enjoy. It helps to elevate our initiatives,
will boost up our willpower. It will also help to manage, to balance out
our mood swings.
Be happy. try to put smile on
the faces around. Life will be all good. We can gather happiness from
doing small things. Don't have to chalk out big plans to make our day.
