Kids Playing Hide and Seek

 

 

Beautiful bright sunny day. It is around noon, 11.54, I am at Tim Horton. I am just back from lake. It was a different spot of Petticoat Creek, was looking great. Lots of people were there. Some busy cycling, some doing picnic with friends and families. Some walking with dogs, some busy with fishing. So many different views for me to enjoy. 

There are two overhead bridges over there. One for trains and the other one, over at one side of the lake, for people to walk. I enjoy walking on bridge. Couple of trains were passing at that time, on the bridge. One was local, green and white, it goes through city, connecting different areas, city and Suburbs. 

The other train was,"Via", it goes to US. I traveled many times using this train service, while my youngest sister was alive. She used to live in Chicago. She is no more now. This train reminds me of her,  whenever I see "Via", I start thinking about the old beautiful golden moments.

At the border, this train changes it's name, becomes, Amtrak". I remember passing through Port Union border. Train used to stop for twenty minutes for customs and passport checking. After that used to go through tunnel. It was about twenty minutes to pass through. That was tough part for me. I don't like tunnels. Anyway I had to do that to see my sister. Nothing is total plus my Dear.

From Toronto Union Station to Chicago, used to be thirteen hours journey. By car it is much less, I think, eight or nine hours. Trains pass through and stop at many stations, it adds up time. I love trains. We enjoy scenic views on the way all along. I love that. 

There were so many birds of many colors and kinds, all around at the lake. They were very active, fast, it was difficult to figure out their colors. I was able to see couple of them, with bright orange on wings. Some were yellow, some grey in color. I just saw glimpses of them. Their kids were enjoying, playing outdoor. I think, it was hide and seek. 

One white Swan was sitting magnificently, in her nest. She looked very peaceful and confident. People were looking at her. She as not bothered at all. I was impressed, what a character.

It is 21 C, yesterday it was cold. We switched off AC, thinking about to start heating. Today, it is warm. Weather is like a roller coaster. I was wearing light jacket at lake, which I left in the car. I don't need that to walk home. 

For now, I am enjoying small tea with Croissant at Coffee House. It is a festive atmosphere here. Drive through is also busy. Tables are set outside too. So many people are enjoying outside. I am sitting inside at my favorite spot, writing my Blog. This is for me, like talking to my Readers family. I am enjoying. Life is all good.
