People's Park and Rose Garden
July 18, 16 C cloudy morning. Last night, it was not a good night sleep
for me. I started thinking that my youngest daughter will leave on
Saturday the 20th. It distracted my sleep.
Anyway, in the morning I chalked out plans to utilize the maximum
out of the time left. I made plans to go to Freshney Mall, to buy her any
gift of her choice.
In the afternoon, I walked to People's Park, with my daughter to enjoy
our time together. There is a small pond in the park. Next to the pond is
Beautiful Rose garden. We were sitting by the pond, watching the ducks,
had pictures with Roses. I had enough time together with my daughter.
I will sleep well tonight.
July 19, 18 C cloudy, 8.15 in the morning. I start my day with my walk
in my daughter's back garden, smelling the Pink Roses. Yesterday it was
raining. Rain drops looking like pearls on the velvety leaves of some of the
plants. It looks so refreshing. We have to start our day with anything positive.
It is very busy day today. My daughter got "Lion King" tickets for the
whole family. We will go at 4.30 show after that at 7 pm, will go to friend's
place for dinner. Kris Dear I told you that everything is give and take.
You don't have to throw party every day.
Let others do that for you too. We don't have to demand and ask for that.
It all depends how you communicate and flourish your relationships with
people. Parties are just to spend time together, it doesn't mean anything.

July 20th, 19 C, mixed sunny and cloudy morning. Today we have to go to
some other friend's place for BBQ party at 12.30. My youngest daughter
staying for one more day, will go tomorrow morning. She is staying for the
party as we have close relationship with that friend. They were insisting
that she has to attend the party.
Yesterday 20th July was her last evening so we enjoyed, watched the sunset
at Cleethorpe beach, walked on the pedestrian bridge and had pictures.
Water was close to the shore, nearly at foot path, while it was far away
when we were there in the morning, day before.
Sunday 21st July 15 C sunny morning. My daughter leaving today at 11. 30.
I am happy, I enjoyed with my daughter, went to Freshney Mall, to Pizza
Hut, to Beach, to watch sunset. I am satisfied, no regrets.
Today I am invited for lunch at someone's place. Whole family is invited.
Kris Dear, I hope Father wont get idea for throwing party every day,
to make Hannah's life miserable.
I told you before that everything is always give and take. Let others do
the same for you. but please don't demand gifts and parties from others.
It is very rude.
We don't have to ask for parties and gifts, it all depends on relationships.
Relationships are like plants, can not be cultivated overnight. It takes time.
Be patient, water with love and affection to get it flourished. Relationships
are like investments, takes time to get the pay back.

ReplyDeleteI have posted the blog in Smile Corner. This being Saturday, lots of customers are in my shop today to read blog. They come here to read blog from today and also the past week. There is no room inside, and people are waiting outside. I am running low on supplies. As usual, the priest is also here today and making notes. The new Councillor is here also. The old councillor came too. The old Councillor appeared to be upset because the new councillor is here. He said that I was Smile's candidate and had Smile's endorsements, so why are the others here. He again brought muffins and was selling it. I told him that he should not do that but he said that he has to raise funds because he lost a lot of money in the election. I am not sure how to stop him because he is doing this every day now. Can you help

ReplyDeleteWe read your blog today with a lot of amazement. The retirees noticed that you have been going out every single day! The retirees never do that. If we go out for 1 day then we have to take some break and stay home for the rest of the week. We also noticed that you go out with your family. The retirees dont get along with our kids. The retired relationship expert who led the reading of the blog today pointed out that you have given a no. of tips in your blog today however we are wondering if you can give some more ideas as this is an important topic for the retirees
The retired chef wanted to provide you an update. The "Stir Fried Zucchini" recipe that you provided a week ago ie on Thursday July 18 is a big hit. Many 5 star properties have introduced it. The cafe manager has also provided that as a special. The hospital administrator also has expressed this feedback when she came for the reading this week on Thursday. She said that its a favourite with the patients, doctors, nurses and other staff.
There was a little incident today. As is the common practice, the cafe manager offered your this week's recipe on special. The recipe was meat curry and the temple people didnt eat that. The retired priest got upset. He said that they should stop coming to the reading if the food recipe is not good enough for them. The hijab lady said that they are not allowed to eat this food. The retired priest said that he has seen hijab lady and other temple people are not vegetarian and they go to get meat from a local store. He also said that Sikhs eat meat. The hijab lady said that they eat kosher meat. The retired priest said that you are a good christian lady and allow others to join the reading but as respect to you, they should eat something else. The hijab lady then bought 1 plate of carrot dessert but asked 5 spoons so they can share among all of them. The cafe manager was not pleased but he didnt say anything. We dont like all the religious issues that take place. We also had to cancel the committee meetings as it was getting uncomfortable.

ReplyDeleteWe read your blog at the Smile Research Center today. The reading was planned at the Smile Platform which is situated in the Smile Garden but the weather was very hot so the Dean suggested that we move the reading inside at the SRC. Because it is the weekend, the SRC was open to all, and Mrs. Lucy, the police officials in their regular clothes, the students of the local school, great friends were all there.
The students are have a really hard time with our parents. We dont go on vacation with our parents but in one case, the parents are insisting that their daughter comes with them as they dont want to leave her alone. The reason we dont go is because its not a very comfortable environment. In one case, the parents give lectures for as long as 5 minutes . And this is not just once but also another time after 2 weeks. The second one was shorter though. Its also torture because they want to go to nature places which we dont care about. The only good thing is that the we get to eat at fancy restaurants and go out and eat fast food like McDonalds many times during the day basically as much as we like.
The Smile Army idiots had a little problem earlier this week. We were doing the reading at SRC during the week and because you wrote a meat curry recipe. They said that everyone has to eat that. There were some students who dont eat meat but the idiots said that everyone has to eat it. It was getting very problematic but the Dean got involved and calmed the idiots down by asking then to play darts. We all like darts because .... You know what I mean. I am not writing any details because you have said not to say anything about your son.
