Enjoying my coffee

Great morning. Beautiful day, a bit cold. It is 11 C, I have to take out my fawn color sweater to wear underneath my jacket. That will be perfect for this weather. Every night is not the same as our days. I had a good sleep last night, got up early to start my day. It is 8.30, I am in my kitchen making my oatmeal porridge for my breakfast. I won't be having tea /coffee at home. I will walk to the coffee house to get my coffee. It's good to check the weather before starting your day. It helps to chalk out our day plan. The weather shows light showers from 11 am. I have to pick my red umbrella, my favorite one for the way back from the coffee house. I am all set to start my walk. The trees around are still green. Golden yellow, violet and white flowers are giving colors to the atmosphere. A couple of pink roses are also here by the side of the Burger King. Enough to make my day. Life is the same with ups and downs. We have to come across some bitter moments too while passing th...

Sunny morning

It's nearly the end of October. The weather is great. It is 11 C at 10.15 in the morning. These are like our summer days in Canada. Days are passing. The year 2026 will be leaving in just two months, It will be another new beginning. Another new year. I think there is a new beginning every morning. We have a clean slate to chalk out our plans for a new beginning. I am leaving for London, England on Thursday. Just two days to go to pack my things. To decide what to take with me. My daughters want me to take my winter coat, sweater, stole and gloves, everything for the cold days there. It is around 12 C in London, still it will not feel the same as in Canada. The winter is quite different over there due to the humidity. It reminds me, one  of my trips years ago. It was the wedding of my niece. My sister told me that it is 8 C, very cold. I didn't realize that 8 C would be cold in London. I had my light jacket and sweater, which I used to wear in that temperature in Toronto. I ...

I have gold in my garden

Beautiful day, bright and sunny. It's 10 C at 9.30 in the morning. No snow, not below zero temperatures.  It is like our summer days in Canada. We are enjoying our outdoors and the colors all around. My garden does not look the same. It is with a different view to behold. Gold, coffee, brick red and bronze colored leaves are scattered on the top of the green in my garden. Most of the flowers are gone. Some of the red and pink seasonal flowers are there. Three pink Canadian roses are here too, not with the same broad smile. The birds are here, not left to the South of the Borders yet. Squirrels are playing hide and seek in the bushes and around the trees. Every season is unique with a different scenario. Nature is amazing. It is like we are sitting in a cinema hall. The scenery keeps on changing on the big world screen. It reminds me of the great writer, Shakespeare the great. He takes people like characters on the world stage. We are sent to play our parts and ...
